Our dining room on Nostrand Avenue is designed to feel like a warm Sunday kitchen with the polish of a modern restaurant — low light, easy conversation, and a menu that changes with the tides. Every seat is close enough to the pass to smell the spices toasting.
What a meal with us feels like
We seat small parties and large ones with the same care. Service is attentive but never rushed; we would rather you linger over a second course of curried callaloo than hurry to turn the table. Our servers know the menu intimately — which dishes are naturally gluten-free, which can be made vegan, and which pairing of pepper sauce will make your snapper sing.

Rain Eatery was founded on the idea that no one should be left out of a good meal. Pescatarian by design, our kitchen keeps clearly labelled vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options on every section of the menu, so a table of six with six different needs can still share the experience. The various seafood selections come from large and flourishing bodies of water, chosen for quality and sustainability. Produce is picked for peak flavour, and our Trinidadian pantry — green seasoning, scotch bonnet, roasted geera, fresh thyme — ties it all together into something that tastes like home with a modern edge.
